Where is the best state for immigrants to live in the US?
There are different lists of best states based on various demographics. A report shows that New York, New Jersey, California, and Florida have large immigrant populations. These states have major metropolitan areas with communities of immigrants, not only Filipinos but from countries all over the world. For immigrants, this is helpful for an easier transition. Culturally, Filipinos stay with relatives and friends when they arrive. The important thing is, go to where you are welcome with relatives and friends to guide and support you and your family in the early stage of transition. America is big and there are many opportunities in other places. You will know and eventually decide when it is time for you to move to another state for better job opportunities and lifestyle. Good luck in your transition. Remember, the first few months is a learning stage. There will be many challenges but stay focused accomplishing your goals and at the same time enjoy the process. 
Any tip on how to mentally prepare myself and my family before immigrating?
It is essential to prepare yourself and your family mentally for the huge change ahead. Getting ready early is necessary. Do thorough research of the local guides in your new community, including the cost of living, housing market, culture, transportation, lifestyle, education, health care system, and job opportunities. Knowing these logistics before moving will give you plenty of time to analyze and decide. So, when you arrive, there will be fewer things to worry about while you adjust to a new lifestyle. As for your children, explain to them why you are going. Focus on the rewards of the move, like the opportunities and lifestyle upgrade. 
What do I need to bring as required documents for my child's schooling?
One of the first things you must do is to enroll your child in school. Call or visit your local school district’s office or website to find out which school your child may attend. In most schools, your child will be placed in a class or grade based on two things: age and level of previous education. In some cases, a school may give your child a test to determine his or her grade level. The documents you need are immunization records and medical certificates normally certified by the US Department of Health, birth certificate, and state ID or driver’s license for parents. Some school districts request a social security number to use as a student identification number. You will also need proof that you live within the zone of the school district, such as a utility bill with your address or lease agreement. If you are living with a relative or friend, proof of the address of your sponsor is acceptable. 
Can you give me advice to quickly get a job?
Connect with friends, relatives, and former colleagues. Attend networking events; it is a way to gain free training opportunities. Volunteering is a great way to expand your professional network. It is important to be flexible. Consider working in a career outside of your original profession. With an alternative career, you can use your skills and talents while exploring a new job. This will also help your financial stress. Enhance your communication skills. Create a good resume to include your soft skills like communication and organization. Customize your cover letter for each job opportunity. Prepare for a job interview. If possible, continue your professional development by seeking additional training or a short course. This will increase your hiring marketability. Take advantage of employment services. They can provide information and help with self-assessment, career planning, language training, and help you in creating a plan to reach your professional goals.
